CROWN PLIERS
for dentistry

Challenge: To develop pliers for holding crowns so that they can be shaped. Dental prosthetics requires high precision. Tools must be precise and reliable.

Our client asked us to develop pliers suitable for serial production, and therefore simple and relatively cheap to manufacture. We delivered both the design and took on the production.

Solution: Our pliers are robust and resistant to wear and tear. The materials used are strong and do not pose a danger to human health. This applies also to the way the surface was been treated. The crown is held by diamond-tipped dental drill-bits. This secure hold allows crowns to be shaped and polished without slippage.
